Ludwig Accent Series Complete Drum Package upgraded features create a solid foundation for a lifetime of drumming. Delivering everything the new player needs to get started, Accent does it all, and at an affordable price. Made with a 9-ply Poplar Shell and 45-degree inner Accent with slight outer bevel.

The Accent Drive features 9-ply, 8mm wood shells, which provide rich low-end and smooth mids. The drum set features 13″ hi-hats, 16″ crash/ride cymbal, 16 x 22″ bass drum, 9 x12″ and 8 x 10″ mounted toms, a 16 x 16″ floor tom, and a 6.5 x 14″ wood snare.

The Accent series upgrades include micro classic lugs and Ludwig 200 series hardware. The geared, locking, and double-braced hardware includes a bass pedal, snare stand, cymbal stand, hi-hat stand, and drum throne.

The new Vic Firth Peter Erskine Big Band Signature Stick is made of hickory and combines the shaft dimensions of a 5A and 5B. A long taper makes the rebound effortless yet maintains a full bodied sound, and a tear drop tip provides excellent cymbal definition.

“As much as I love my Ride Stick,” Peter explains, “I found myself wanting and needing a slightly heavier stick. This is especially true when playing with a big band or other type of large ensemble. The larger sticks I tried did not have the same pleasant balance or assistive ‘throw’ that my Ride Stick has. I wanted the same fantastic cymbal response and sound that the Ride Stick produces, only ‘stronger’ when need be. So I decided that it was time to marry the Ride Stick to my fantasy.”
