This is the story about Island Bell and it goes like this:
Just like the founding fathers of the ukulele, the same people who arrive to Hawaii from Portugal,
Daniel and Jean are two musicians from New York, who wanted to create something of their own…
The name, Island Bell, was chosen exactly how we envisioned the instrument.
Island Bell is the focal point of the Island, it represent the uniqueness of the Island, the freedom, innocence, longing.
Longing for what? No reason really, to something you love so much and enjoy at the moment..
Our ukuleles comes in all the classic sizes; Tenor, Sopran, Sopranino, Concert and Pineapple.
We chose an internal logo that is placed inside the ukulele; a lighthouse with pineapples and hibiscus leaves.
The lighthouse represent the safe harbour, the pineapple the freedom and the hibiscus leaves the colorfulness of this amazing instrument.
We choose every model to match the perfect wood to what this ukulele should sound.
The wood we use is KOA, MAPLE, ACACIA, MAHOGANY, SAPELE, SPRUCE and CEDAR and more to come..
Every instrument will come with a 10 Year Warranty (on wood and gluing, not breakage and/or strings).
