The companion Lié is available as a standalone app and as a VST2 and AU plug-in only. Lié supports Ableton Live 9+, Cubase 6+, Studio One 4, and more.
It’s control software, Lié, also hosts third-party VST instruments, allowing you to take advantage of the multi-dimensional nature of the hardware with your existing software instruments.
How’s It Difference from the original Touché?
The SE is a USB-only version of the Touché, meaning that it must be connected to a computer to function. The original has internal memory and can be used standalone, without a computer, for MIDI and CV control applications.
While the SE does not feature physical MIDI or CV In/Outs, it can be used to create MIDI CC data within a DAW, which could then, in turn, be output to hardware synthesizers via third-party MIDI or CV interfaces.
