DJ Tech has shaken up the DJ mixer market with their inexpensive, feature-packed mixers. The dif-1s Mk2 does not lack in features and actually introduces innovations not found in higher priced models. Firstly, DJ Tech has integrated an innovator mini crossfader into the dif-1s’ design. This high quality fader is known for its durability (tested to perform over 4 million cycles!). with its accurate performance and the ability to adjust the crossfader curve, scratch DJs have quickly adopted DJ Tech mixers as the standard for mixers in this price range. Lastly, the dif-1s includes all the necessary mixer features such as 3-band EQ, line inputs (for CDJs, MP3 players, etc), dual headphone inputs (small and large plug), mic input with volume control, and booth output with volume control. The other main innovation is the timecode mode feature. The dif-1s features extra RCA inputs and outputs to plug directly into you digital vinyl system (DVS) interface (EG. Serato SL3 or native instruments Traktor scratch). This allows you to switch from traditional DJ setup to DVS setup by hitting a button, and most importably, without having to disconnect any cables.
